Yukiya Amano has officially been nominated as IAEA Director General for the third time. Amano is currently the only candidate for the post, reports the RIA Novosti. On Oct. 3, the during the Board of Governors’ meeting Amano was officially nominated for the presidency for 2017-2021. The nomination process will continue until December 31. However, there are no other candidates expected at this moment.
