The protests in Ethiopia continue after the death of dozens of people during a religious holiday, which turned into a demonstration, reports the Reuters.

The number of killed published by government and the opposition is contradictory. According to the official figures, 55 people were killed and about 100 were wounded. The opposition claims a death of 150.

On October 3, the Ethiopian people went out to the streets with a requirement to prosecute the perpetrators. According to witnesses, there have been clashes with the police in some cities. Ethiopian authorities have declared a three-day of mourning in regard to October 2 events.
