YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, on Tuesday received US Ambassador Richard Mills.

The PM assessed Armenian-American relations as productive, and noted that Armenia attaches great importance to the development of partnership ties with the US. Also, he thanked for the US government assistance to the reforms in Armenia, ever since its independence in 1991.

In Karapetyan’s words, Armenia-US relations comprise a wide range of cooperation, and the Armenian government stands ready to take steps toward fully implementing the existing potential and expanding cooperation

Ambassador Mills, in turn, expressed a conviction that their collaboration with the Karapetyan-led Armenian government will contribute to the strengthening and deepening of bilateral ties.

At the ensuing talk, PM Karen Karapetyan and Ambassador Richard Mills exchanged views on Armenian-American collaboration.
