YEREVAN. – The Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, Garen Nazarian, delivered remarks at a conference on Afghanistan.

The event that was held on Wednesday in Brussels, the capital city of Belgium, was organized by the European Union (EU), and together with the Afghan government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Nazarian noted that Armenia has assisted in and will continue to contribute to the establishment of security, peace, and rule of law in Afghanistan. He added that this is why Armenia has joined the respective international coalition.

The deputy FM also reaffirmed Armenia’s willingness to continue its engagement in the the NATO-led Resolute Support Mission (RSM) in Afghanistan. Garen Nazarian noted that Armenia supports a comprehensive peace process in Afghanistan.
