The Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit France on October 19, where he will discuss with Francois Hollande issues of Syria and Ukraine, announced the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. "I think this visit will have a special significance," he said, opening talks with his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault, reports the RIA Novosti.

According to him, the leaders of Russia and France will have a possibility to discuss the state of bilateral relations, based on the trends that have recently been manifested in business circles and among government employees of the countries. " They will have a rich cultural program, which also reflects traditions of Russian-French partnership. Of course, they will also discuss international issues, primarily Syria, Ukraine,” said Lavrov.
