The US Secretary of State John Kerry did not state that Russia commits "war crimes" in Syria, he rather proposed to conduct an investigation of blows inflicted on the civilian population, reports the TASS, referring to Friday briefing of the US State Department spokesman John Kirby.
According to Kirby, Kerry emphasized that it was a violation of international norms, and urged to conduct an investigation to determine whether the bombing was a war crime. He noted that the Secretary of State believes that such acts " beg for an appropriate investigation of war crimes.”
