China will continue firmly supporting Colombia’s peace process, said the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during his official visits to four Latin American countries. China hopes and believes that all sides in Colombia will unite to overcome difficulties and realize the ultimate peace, Wang added. The Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos won the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize on Oct. 7 for his efforts to end 52-year-old war.  Wang said that as a permanent member of the UN Security Council China would continue to support the peace process internationally. “China upholds that all arguments should finally be resolved via peaceful negotiations. Force cannot resolve problems but only brings more harm and hate,” Wang added.
