The Chinese police arrested 201 suspects for infringement on citizens' personal data, reports the Xinhua with a reference to China's Ministry of Public Security. In November of 2015, the law enforcement agencies of Liaoning Province, during the investigation of the infringement of personal data discovered numerous facts about the sale of personal information, which were related to many other regions of the country as well. 9 criminal groups were neutralized. The investigation revealed that each of these groups had a source of leakage of personal information. The sale of the information to the popular social networks such as WeChat and QQ was implemented by means of the agents involved in these criminal groups .
