YEREVAN. – The meeting of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has kickoff Friday at the Office of the President of Armenia, in capital city Yerevan.

The presidents of Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, and Russia as well as the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan are participating in this event.

Armenia’s CSTO chairmanship will come to an end with the Yerevan meeting and pass to Belarus.

Two dozen issues are on the agenda of this event.  

In addition, political statements are expected to be adopted at the talk.

The Collective Security Treaty Organization comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
