China’s Sichuan province may in near future have its own Jurassic Park.

The theme park will be located in Zigong city. The relevant deal was signed by local authorities and Shenzhen's Fantawild Group, Xinhua reports.

According to the agreement, each of the sides shall invest $450 mln USD. The future amusement park, which will cover 67 hectares, will be next to the city’s Dinosaur Museum.

To “animate” the dinosaurs, it is planned to apply high technologies here, including virtual and augmented reality. The amusement park is expected to annually attract 23 mln visitors.
