Tavis Walker, a high school teen, found a piece of jewelry that was stolen from the house of renowned American-Armenian physician Hrair Garabedian, in Spokane, in the US State of Washington.

The stolen items were family heirlooms, and a medal Dr. Garabedian got from the President of Armenia, for his volunteer work.

Police were able to arrest Reuben Miller for stealing the jewelry, but Garabedian still had not gotten back all of the item that were stolen, reported KREM 2.

Walker stumbled upon a piece of jewelry in the alley when he was walking home.

“Found it laying there because I saw something silver, I looked over to pick it up and found it was bracelets,” he said.

Turns out Walker’s dad recognized the pieces of jewelry from a story about the stolen heirlooms.

The bracelets belong to Dr. Garabendian’s wife.

“I brought [them] for her from Armenia,” the physician said.

To note, Walker’s cousin is actually one of Dr. Garabedian’s patients.
