YEREVAN. – Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, on Tuesday met with Georgian Ambassador Giorgi Saganelidze.

Lauding the high level of Armenia-Georgia political discourse, Karapetyan noted that active work is needed toward making bilateral trade and economic cooperation also reach such level and fully implementing the existing potential, the Press Office of the Government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Saganelidze, in turn, stressed that Armenian-Georgian relations are based on age-old friendship between the two peoples, and that his country underscores the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with Armenia.

Subsequently, the Armenian PM and the Georgian ambassador discussed collaboration between the two countries.

In particular, the interlocutors exchanged views on the course of joint projects in several domains, and future courses of action.
