Fire crews of the New South Wales state Australia informed that a gas explosion in Sydney's Chinatown that left 10 people injured, including two children.
As Xinhua reported, as a result of explosion 14 were injured in total.
According to the local mass media, the toll of injured people rose to 16.
A medical staff assisted the injured people on the ground, seven people were hospitalized. Besides, about 200 people were evacuated from the building.
The explosion did not cause damage to nearby buildings. Chinese Consulate-General in Sydney contacted the local police. The police didn't report data on nationality of victims yet.
