The time seems to have stopped for the family of 37-year-old Masis Tovmasyan, who died during the April war. His wife and two minors still stay in 2016, when Masis was alive and by their side.

This family will never forger 2 April 2016, when everything turned upside down in their life and the grief cloaked their once happy family.

Mrs Elmira remembers each minute and even second of that day. She as usual sent the children to school, while her husband went to work. When the children returned from school, they said that a war had broken out. Their mother first didn't believe. But soon she had to face the reality.  Her husband wasn't a serviceman but he was included in the supply.  ''Masis came from work and had dinner. At about 7 o'clock he said that mobilization was announced and he was called to go to the front. Masis left and immediately afterwards we received the relevant call notice. I put my signature and already at 9 o'clock he was taken to Yeghnikner. That day was full of sufferings. I can't forget it till now...'' Emira says. 

She talked on phone with her husband all night and fell asleep at dawn. Waking up, she again called her husband but he was already unavailable.

''They say the shell which wounded him fell into a trench. He didn't die immediately but in an hour and 20 minutes after being wounded,'' Elmira notes.

The most valuable things left from Masis are the photos placed in all the corners of the house and the memories which they shared with him...The family lives by them.
