YEREVAN. – Armenia will facilitate the entry of Indian citizens, permanent residents of the Persian Gulf states. The decision was approved by the government during a meeting on Thursday.

This will concern the Indians who permeant live in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.  They will be able to receive the visa on border check points of Armenia. The decision was made to make easier contacts of Armenia with Persian Gulf states as 70 – 80% of residents of these countries are migrants engaged both in seasonal work and in various fields of management. Citizens of Asian countries, particularly India, dominate among foreigners.
