The Eurasian Economic Commission, which is the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), recently released statistics summarizing the results of the 2016 foreign and mutual trade of the EAEU member countries.

According to these data, mutual trade between these countries fell by nearly $3 billion, or 6.7 percentage point, in the year past, as compared with 2015.

And foreign trade decreased by about $69.6 billion, or around 12 percent.

The Eurasian Economic Union comprises Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
