As Rotterdam mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb, the owner of the hall booked for the event, which can hold up to 500 people, withdrew authorization for Saturday’s event, Politico reported.
Earlier, Dutch politicians, including Prime Minister Mark Rutte, spoke against events with Cavusoglu's participation.
Rotterdam mayor supported Rutte, saying that even if they were trying to hold them meeting, it would be cancelled for safety reasons.
