Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia have discussed in detail wide range of bilateral issues, RA MFA press service told NEWS.am. RA FM Nalbanyan devoted special attention to regular contacts between the two Foreign Ministries and stressed they would serve as a solid basis for fostering mutually beneficial relations.

The parties touched upon the Gyumri-Akhaltskha-Bavra-Batumi highway construction project and noted that it will facilitate freight and passenger traffic. FMs discussed extension of contractual legal basis, demarcation of frontiers and energy cooperation. On the morrow of the meeting the sides signed a memorandum on exchange of lands for diplomatic missions.

Armenian side initiated talks on Armenian issues in Georgia. PA President Serzh Sargsyan will receive Georgian FM Grigol Vashadze today.
