The RA Statistical Service released preliminary information on the state of Armenian economy for this January-October.

Retail trade turnover showed a 0.7% increase as compared with the corresponding period last year. The services sector showed a 6.3% increase.

The tendencies have been registered amid unprecedented inflation over the last few years. This January-October, the consumer price index was 107.9%. This October prices did not get stable despite the fact they reached a high level – a 1% average rise this October as compared with this September.

The trade and services turnover showed a decrease of 3.9% and 1.9% respectively.

This January-October, inflation for the first time exceeded the increase of monthly average wages by 0.2%.
