Armenian President’s decision not to participate in the NATO Summit is reasoned by previous wordings on Karabakh in the draft declaration, ruling Republican party MP Artak Davtyan told the journalists today.

“Azerbaijani side uses all opportunities to declare about its so-called victories and voice military rhetoric. Imagine what could have happened if the President participated in the summit. Besides, immediately after Serzh Sargsyan’s decision was made, NATO Secretary General stated he doesn’t understand what role NATO can play in solution to the conflict.  I think that this statement is linked with the Armenian President’s decision,” he said.

Artak Davtyan also noted that Serzh Sargsyan’s move is a clear message to Azerbaijan and international community indicating that previous wordings on Karabakh are unacceptable.
