YEREVAN. - There is no ban on import of goods from Azerbaijan, this simply being a moral issue.
Chairman of the Armenian State Revenue Committee (SRC) Vardan Harutyunyan told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am Saturday.
Referring to the cases of import of Azerbaijani goods to Armenia, he stressed: ''I have told several times that they did not do good, that was incorrect.''
Asked whether there there will be a ban if the import of Azerbaijani goods is carried out with relevant documents and without violations, Vardan Harutyunyan noted: ''From purely emotional point of view, that is unacceptable. Those people are currently serving their punishment in relevant places.''
Earlier, Armenian customs service workers had been detained as part of the case of importing apples, soda and soil from Azerbaijan.
