Nothing can affect the friendship between Turkey and Azerbaijan. We are two different states of the same nation. This was stated by President Abdullah Gul, commenting on scandalous Wikileaks publication.

"It seems to me that this disclosure  has a goal. This correspondence is an opinion that reflects developments in the countries where U.S. diplomats are serving, as well as personal opinions about certain individuals. Perhaps some of them are true, some - not. This is how this issue must be viewed ", he said, writes CNN-Turk.

According to him, the reports about the relationship with Prime Minister Erdogan can not spoil these relations and the current policy. In his view, the leakage of materials from the archives should primarily worry a country that owns these files.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, one of the documents published by Wikileaks, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the meeting with U.S. Undersecretary of State expressed aversion to the government of Erdogan and said Ankara’s foreign policy is naive.
