YEREVAN. - The signature of Azerbaijan is repeated, the absence of targeted statements being very surprising.
Deputy of the Armenian National Assembly (NA) from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Arman Saghatelyan said the aforementioned at a press-conference after the screening of the film Artsakh 2016: The Second Day of April on Thursday.
He recalled that in April 2016, journalists of Lifenews took shots in Azerbaijani town Terter under the stringent control of the Azerbaijani armed forces and intelligence services. “They were taken there to be shown the so-called “humanitarian disaster” and that the Armenians allegedly bombed the residential districts. In order to fulfill his professional obligations, one of the TV channel journalists went out of their control and stated that there were traces of artillery materiel on the residential buildings. He also recorded that fact. Lifenews was deported from the country exactly because of this journalist,” Saghatelyan noted.
“And it is very surprising for me that no representative of international organizations conducting a mediation or monitoring mission then made any targeted statement,” he said.
