Russia must withdraw its military forces from South Ossetia and Abkhazia. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Great Britain Nick Clegg.

“The United Kingdom, as most of the States represented here, unequivocally recognizes the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia within its recognized borders”- said Clegg at the OSCE summit in Astana, RIA Novosti reported.

He urged Russia to comply with its obligations under the cease-fire and withdraw its troops from Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
