Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) should discuss the information in the report by the Turkish security service. According to the report, the members of Turkish Revenge Brigade (TIBT) planned to kill a high-ranking representative of ARFD in Turkey, the Chairman of RA NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs, ARFD member Hrayr Karapetyan told NEWS.am.

“Definitely, at different times radical Turkish organizations showed radical attitude towards those Armenian forces with national positions. In this regard, I was not surprised at the publication,” he said.

According to him, the relevant agencies should take measures to clarify this information, as the point is Armenian politicians, regardless of their party affiliation. However, Karapetyan was unaware who this mysterious ARFD member was, mentioned in the report. According to the information at NEWS.am’s disposal, he may be Hrant Margaryan, a representative of ARF-D Bureau.

Drawing a parallel between inhuman plans of Turkish nationalists and Turkish high-ranking officials’ warm words to continue Armenia-Turkey process, Karapetyan said: “This information proves once again double dealing of Turkish authorities. They say one thing and do or plan another. Certainly, the existence of national forces in Armenia, especially such a force, as ARFD, which is a pan-Armenian party, is of no benefit to Turkish authorities,” the MP stressed.

According to the parliamentarian, it is no secret that Turkey has regularly blamed the Armenian Diaspora for Armenian Genocide recognition. It is no coincidence, as they realize that ARF Dashnaktsutyun is a force which can resist the anti-Armenian plans of Turkey. “I am confident the Turkish authorities are associated with radical parties, including Turkish Revenge Brigade,” Karapetyan underscored.
