Thorough inspections of the Armenian food market will start from the latter half of this month, Head of the State Veterinary and Food Safety Inspection Service, RA Ministry of Agriculture, Grisha Bagyan told journalists.
“We will see to it that only high-quality and safe products be available in the market,” he said.
Head of the Protection of Consumer Rights NGO Abgar Yegoyan said that the organization plans to conduct food price monitoring on the threshold of New Year holidays. “We conduct semimonthly monitoring, but more thorough inspections will be conducted from December 15 on,” he said.
