Turkish Ughersan company is interested in creation of a free economic zone in Adjara. Representative of the company have already met with Finance and Economic Minister Vaja Bolqvadze, GHN reported.

The Adjara government notes that attraction of investors from Izmir, one of the most developed industrial regions of Turkey, is of major importance for the region.

The Adjara government has been negotiating with investors on creation of a free economic zone in Khelvachauri region. Under the agreement, zone will be constructed in two years.
