Karen Karapetyan is a good manager and is respected in Yerevan, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said during swearing-in ceremony of the Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan.

He wished the new Mayor to satisfy expectations not to disappoint people giving preference to his candidacy.

“My expectations primarily refer to your actions. The day before yesterday, at the meeting dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Republican Party of Armenia, we discussed the qualities and attitudes that an official should have. I really hope that from the first day of your work it will be obvious for everyone that you have started meeting these requirements,” Serzh Sargsyan said.
