Armenia and Georgia will establish a joint customs station in 2011. The two states’ governments submitted for approval a memorandum on mutual understating. Armenian Government will discuss the document at the Dec. 2 session.

Customs procedures at the joint station will be simplified.

The memorandum on mutual understating will be in effect within 3 years, after which the term will be automatically prolonged unless one of the sides notifies the other side of its desire to terminate it at least 6 months prior to the document’s expiry.
