The representatives of Armenian Diaspora in Malta’s capital Valletta organized a festive event dedicated to the 1st anniversary of erecting Armenian Khachkar (cross stone) in the city centre.

The Khachkar was set up in December 2009, Yerkramas, newspaper of Russia’s Armenians reports. The cross stone was made in Armenia. Representatives of the local Armenian community, MPs of Malta’s Parliament, Mayor of Valetta and others attended the opening ceremony of the Armenian Khachkar.
