U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie L. Yovanovitch congratulated Armenian people on New Year and Christmas, press service of U.S. Embassy in Armenia informed NEWS.am.
“2010 marked another positive year in Armenian-American relations, highlighted by President Sargsian’s visit to the U.S. and Secretary of State Clinton’s visit to Armenia. I hope that the coming year will strengthen these ties, and our partnership will continue to flourish.
I want to express my deep appreciation for the extraordinary warmth and hospitality the Armenian people have shown me in every part of this beautiful country. For all of us at the American embassy, it is truly an honor to live and work in Armenia.
I hope that 2011 will be a year of peace, happiness, and prosperity for every Armenian family,” she said in a message.
