One or two staff changes will not solve structural problems, said Ara Nranyan, member of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun. According to him, Prime Minister’s team remained unchanged, therefore only Justice Minister Gevorg Danielyan was dismissed (he was not aware of Agriculture Minister’s resignation then).  

Ideology was not changed with the recent reshuffle, he believes. Moreover, ministers responsible for certain fields suggest draft laws acting against interests of the sphere. For instance, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs introduces a bill reducing maternity benefits instead of increasing pensions.

Nranyan deems that authorities keep on carrying out neo-liberal policy, as a result of which well-being decline will continue.
