Even according to official statistical data, actual incomes have decreased for the first time over the last ten years, Ara Nrtanyan, a member of the ARF-D parliamentary faction, told journalists Dec. 27.

Specifically, a 7.6% wage increase and a 9.6% inflation rise have been registered this year. Neither the Armenian Government and nor the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) is able to curb the raging inflation expected next year as well.

He is also severely critical of the RA State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition and the RA Ministry of Agriculture, which are “content with superficial analyses.”
