The world’s longest cable car “Wings of Tatev” will not operate for seven days to verify the tramway’s compliance with the accepted standards. Taking into account December is not a peak season for tourism, the aerial tramway will not operate from December 30, 2010 to January 5, 2011.
To date, “Wings of Tatev” has hosted 8.800 people, 30% of which are residents of the neighboring villages.
