This January-November, Armenia’s state budget revenues exceeded 690.2 billion AMD (about U.S. $1.9 billion), and on-budget expenditures totaled 742.6 billion AMD (U.S. $2 billion), the RA Ministry of Finance told NEWS.am.

Armenia’s budget revenues showed a 14.3% increase as compared with the corresponding period last year. Official grants played a key role in the increase of budget revenues (82.9%), and tax revenues showed a 13.6% increase.

Off-budget funds of government agencies were also incorporated in the state budget. During the period under review, government agencies’ incomes totaled 17 billion AMD (U.S. $47 million).

On-budget revenues showed a 3.3% increase as compared with the corresponding period last year. The main reason for the increase was increased expenses on serving the national debt, grants and maintenance, as well as lower revenues from alienation of nonfinancial assets.

This January-November, Armenia’s state budget deficit totaled 52.4 billion AMD (about U.S. $145 million), the budgeted annual deficit being 128 billion AMD (about U.S. $355 million). Last January-November, the budget deficit totaled 114.9 billion AMD (about U.S. $320 million).
