Philippine police killed 10 drug trafficking suspects and arrested 63 people in a number of operations, Reuters reported.

According to the source, 88 people were killed and around 9,000 arrested, since President Rodrigo Duterte allowed the police to resume operations, after a 2-month suspension because of the death of an unarmed teenager.

Operations continued from Wednesday night until Thursday morning in the province of Bulacan, north of Manila.

According to Bulacan police chief Romeo Caramat, 10 suspects were killed in eight different cities in 45 separate operations.

At least 4,000 Filipinos were killed during Duterte’s war on drugs.
