Chilean President Sebastian Pinera ratified the protocol recognizing the existence of the state of Palestine as a free, independent and sovereign state, izrus.co.il reports.
Chile became the fifth Latin American state to recognize Palestine as an independent state following Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay and Ecuador.
