Turkish doctor Yusuf Ercin Sonmez, who was wanted by Interpol accused of illegal transplantation of human organs in Kosovo, was arrested in Istanbul.
He was detained and taken to police department of Istanbul. Based on an investigation carried out in Kosovo an indictment was issued against 7 people, including Sonmez. The decision on arrest was made in Kosovo and Azerbaijan.
