Chinese and US officials, meeting in Beijing, agreed to set up a mechanism to resolve growing trade disputes, New York Times reported. 

According to the source, the sides discussed the expansion of US exports to China, services, protection of intellectual property rights and customs duties.

Both Chinese and U.S. officials “reached consensus in some areas.”

Earlier, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said that US trade delegation in China has been having very good talks.
