A small yellow plane crashed into trees Saturday morning in New York's Orange County, killing one person and injuring another, NBC reported quoting the state police.

Both victims had to be cut out of the aircraft, said Terry Reynolds, assistant chief of the New Hampton Fire Department.

The Aeronca 7AC crashed just after takeoff from the Randall Airport in Middletown, the FAA said. The plane crashed near Dolstontown Road.
