According to the information at Azg daily’s disposal, President of Switzerland Micheline Anne-Marie Calmy-Rey paid his first foreign visit to Germany on January 24. She met with German Minister for Foreign Affairs Guido Westerwelle. The diplomats discussed international issues, including the situation in Armenia and Georgia.

Micheline Calmy-Rey stressed she would be consistent with development of ties between Switzerland and EU.
