Afghan security forces’ militaries who were ambushed in Faryab district repelled the attack of the militants and reached their destination.

“#Afghan defense ministry confirms militant attack on army convoy in #Faryab's #Ghormach district, says the attack was repelled and the convoy reached its destination Qaisar district #AFG," the 1TV tweeted. 

As reported earlier, a group of 350 members of the Afghan security forces were ambushed, heading for the city of Maymana, the capital of Faryab province
