YEREVAN. – Artak Avetyan, who heads the Reformists’ Party electoral list for the forthcoming snap election for the Yerevan Council of Elders and is the mayoral candidate of this political force, considers increasing green areas in  Armenia’s capital city to be a priority.

Separately, he disagreed with the view that election results are already predetermined.

Also, the mayoral nominee noted that he coordinates construction works.

“Every wealthy man should not place statues with his preference in the city,” he added, in particular, in this regard.

Designer, painter, construction coordinator, and filmmaker Artak Avetyan is running in the Yerevan city council election under the slogan, “Green Yerevan.”

As reported earlier, the official campaign season for the forthcoming snap election of Yerevan Council of Elders has begun on Monday, and it will conclude on September 21.

September 22 is election silence day.

The Yerevan municipal council election will be conducted on September 23.
