YEREVAN. – Yerevan mayoral candidate from “Yerevan Community” initiative Anahit Tarkhanyan said she voted for the future green and equipped city, for the sake of our children and our future.

“I think today’s election will become pivotal for the entire society. I have many expectations with this election, regardless of the results. I am convinced that our bloc will face big processes that we have to implement for the sake of the future of our children,” she said.

 Overall, 475 polling stations opened in Yerevan at 8am on Sunday. Four alliances and eight political parties are running in the election for the Council of Elders.
