Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with his Kazakh counterpart Kairat Abdrakhmanov on the margins of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The ministers discussed issues related to bilateral relations and interaction in multilateral formats.

Presenting the development agenda of the Armenian government and the achievements, the experience in the field of innovations and high technologies, which are its main directions, Mnatsakanyan noted the importance of initiating programs aimed at bilateral cooperation in these areas.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on a number of key regional and international matters. Speaking about the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, Mnatsakanyan briefed the Kazakh counterpart on the position and priorities of the Armenian side on this part, stressing the importance of creating an atmosphere of peace to advance the negotiation process.
