YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on the speculations that his watch costs $50,000.

In a Facebook post, Pashinyan posted a photo of his watches and emphasized that they are made in Armenia.

“Armenia-made watches are sold at AWI store in Yerevan for 76,000 drams [around $157] and 105,000 [around $217] drams,” he wrote. “I bought the watches when I promised to wear Armenia-made clothes, shoes and watches. The purpose of my message is to promote Armenian production and producers, to encourage investments. Armenia has to become an industrial country”.
