YEREVAN. – Issues related to the funeral of Charles Aznavour are a family matter, said the French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacote on Monday.
His remark came during the candlelight vigil at the Aznavour Square in Yerevan.
“His main achievements are songs, and they will live forever,” Lacote said.
According to him, it's a sad day not only for the Armenians of France, but for all the French.
“Today the French and Armenians are one nation,” he added.
