YEREVAN.- Transitional justice involves three components: ascertaining of fault, request for forgiveness, forgiveness, forgiveness,  First Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan told reporters on Friday.

“Because people cannot forgive everyone and let them go home without realizing guilt and asking for forgiveness. The participation of the second side is very important in this regard, ”said Mirzoyan. At the same time, he noted that the deputies should realize that it is the time to “go home” (Mirzoyan means holding snap elections) and not hinder the future of Armenia. “And people should be ready to forgive,” added Mirzoyan.

 

Responding to a question about the timing of the application of transitional justice, Mirzoyan noted that there is no need to hurry. “This is a very serious process. Everything must be weighed. There are no deadlines, ”Mirzoyan said, adding that this is a tool for reconciliation of the parties which are on different sides of the barricades.

But he also stressed that it is impossible to imprison tens of thousands of people  participating in election fraud.
