YEREVAN. – First Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Friday had a working meeting with Natalia Vutova, Head of the Council of Europe (CoE) Office in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

They conferred on the mechanisms for conducting a snap parliamentary election in the country, improving the latter’s election law, possible constitutional amendments, and transitional justice in Armenia, press office of the government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Vutova reaffirmed that the CoE supports the key reforms being implemented in the country and the strengthening of the institutions of new Armenia, and stressed that all the processes shall be implemented on the basis of the rule of law.

Also, the interlocutors underscored the COE Venice Commission’s expert assistance to the legislative and institutional reforms in Armenia.
