The ruble exchange rate jumped following the false media reporters for the press conference of the US Security Advisor John Bolton in Baku.

The economic euphoria was sparked by false media reports quoting the U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton as saying at a press conference in Baku, that the U.S. has no plans for new sanctions on Russia.

“The U.S. president’s National Security Adviser John Bolton stated on Wednesday at a press conference in Baku that the United States currently has no plans to impose additional sanctions against Russia,” the media reported.

On Wednesday, October 24, Russian markets jumped to their highest level and the U.S. dollar fell against the Russian ruble to its lowest since last August, reaching 65.13 rubles to the dollar.
